An interesting meeting with Taizé
During his visit to Lebanon, Brother Jean-Jacques from the Taizé community in France met with The General Secretary of NESSL and The Executive Director of CPS to discuss many possibilities of future projects and cooperation between the two.
Taize is a hyperactive Ecumenical community in north of France that creates worldwide youth activities ages 18-35.
Brother Jean-Jacques was visiting Lebanon at the time, meeting with all the sects leaders of the participants in last year’s youth meeting which was very successful and another successful one was foreseen in the meeting exclusively for the Syrians and of course the Presbyterians for Syria.
As the Executive Director of CPS had previous connections and activities with Taizé, and after looking at the achievements and services of NESSL, Brother Jean-Jacques promised support and cooperation with NESSL and CPS and to introduce a new broad channel of similar organisations.
