The Arab Evangelical Church in Aleppo Inaugurates Its New Building

The National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon, represented by its leaders, pastors and elders, headed by the General Secretary Rev. Joseph Kassab, has inaugurated the new building of the Arab Evangelical Church in Aleppo. The inauguration service was attended by the heads of the Christian communities in Aleppo, and also by the Grand Mufti of the Syrian Arab Republic Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Badr al-Din Hassoun, the Grand Mufti of Aleppo Sheikh Dr. Mahmoud Akam, in addition to security, political and educational figures and representatives of charities.
The construction of the new church building in Aleppo is an affirmation of adherence to hope. Whatever the church suffered from persecutions and violence, and whatever its buildings were destroyed, it will be rebuilt to the assembly of the faithful, and to remain in this Middle East, to live in peace, and witness its faith to all around it, Which dispels darkness.
