Refugee Relief Project

Relief for displaced families in Syria, due to 8 years of violence, has been one of the most urgent needs to reach out to the afflicted families.
NESSL Churches in Homs, Aleppo, and Edlib have been hit very early in 2012.
This caused many of our congregations families get displaced loosing homes, jobs, and properties. As a result NESSL has to get involved in relief work among hundreds of families.
This included providing for food, hygiene, clothes, medicine and paying for rents.
Many of those families were five members, all who needed help. A project that has been so heavy on the shoulders of NESSL.
With the prolonging of violence, and the lack of fuel, NESSL had as of 2014, to provide for families the needed fuel so to have
electricity, water, gas for cooking and to heat homes in cold winter, a project named as "Winter project".
Thus, ever since 2014 NESSL has been providing for 450 families to get fuel, very costly but urgently needed.
So the general Relief project including food, medicine, clothes, FUEL, and rents for 1400-1500 has been highly costly mission that need much supports.
