The General Secretary of the National Evangelical Synod, Rev. Joseph Kassab, and Rev. Najla Kassab received Dr. Martina Wasserloss, the President of the Reformed Church Council in Europe, accompanied by Ms. Julia Berecz, Head of Ecumenical Church Relations at the Reformed Church in Hungary. The visit took place on the sidelines of their participation in a conference held at the Dhour El Shweir Evangelical Center, which brought together women from Lebanon, Syria, Ukraine, and Northern Ireland to share their stories of perseverance during times of war.

 

 

Dr. Wasserloss and Ms. Berecz also met with Mr. Amir Bitar, President of the Compassion Protestant Society and the director of Beirut Evangelical School for Boys and Girls.
