After a great deal of preparations and coordination, the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon met with members of the Evangelical Church in Germany. Lay people from the two Churches gathered at Dhour Chweir Evangelical Center for six days, from 3 to 8 June, 2018. The objective of their meeting was to strengthen the partnership between both churches, which began about two years ago. The twelve members who attended from the Evangelical Church in Germany met the same number of people from the Synod. During the meeting, the attendees discussed various matters related to the two churches and their situations.
